Our ladder-style Ellwood Bookcase proves that you can’t go wrong with classic oak. With its curved edge detailing and protective gloss finish, it’s a bookcase that will draw the eye whether it’s complementing other oak furniture in a living room or stacked with cookbooks in the kitchen. Five shelves provide plenty of space for books of all sizes, and could also be styled with baskets, houseplants and eye-catching ornaments.
This bookcase requires assembly and has adjustable plastic foot caps to stop floors from being scratched. Pair it with other furniture from our Ellwood range for a unified interior design.

Furniture should be dusted with a dry cloth.
Water and other liquids can cause discoloration and damage to the wooden surfaces. In case any liquids are spilled on the surface, remove immediately with a clean cloth. Avoid rubbing the spilled liquid into the surface, but wipe gently, using a clean, firmly wrung damp cloth. Dry afterwards using a clean, dry cloth.
Make sure all surfaces are protected from heat by mats and coasters. Wipe up spills immediately and ensure that a mat or pad is placed under paper if you are writing.
Our furniture will endure most temperatures in the home, but it is best to avoid place furniture next to heat sources such as radiators or fire. Be particularly careful with solid wood as the lack of humidity caused by home heating can cause damage such as warping.
